Charity Tree Lot -- West 2008

Cellophane's first Charity Tree Lot. I chose to keep the decor very simple. Two lamps with wreaths, one little red jewel symbolizing my son and the elf to represent my daughter. This little sleeping elf reminds me of my daughter. She looks that sweet when she sleeps...

The scroll holds a link to one of my all-time favorite if not absolute favorite Christmas songs. I so strongly remember laying in my bedroom as a teenager with my bulky headphones over my ears listening to this song. It made the snow falling outside my window feel magical and it made the holidays nearly feel happy. Music was always my escape and always helped me to forget (insert any number of things in my teen years that weren't very joyful).

This tiny lot represents my children and the special places they occupy in my heart.

Curious about the
person behind the Avie?
