In The Hood

Oh how far she's come; little split Island...

I remember so clearly the vision I had for this piece of There Real Estate; I am moving ever closer to the culmination of that vision.

I've added a Club Yacht for my 'Where In There Challenge' and monthly 'Where In There Quest of Color'. The Yacht is an exact replica of a Yacht I had in one of my old Hoods (Just A Kiss Away). I am thinking of also plopping down another replica of a living space I had on Axltap Cay (another Hood I owned briefly) but as yet I haven't figured out how to incorporate that space into this Hood.

I've added Mangroves to the area of the Where in There Yacht and a new lot off of the edge of the High Hut lot. This new lot is called 'Blasted Oasis' and will be just that!

I am preparing to clear the areas between the 'High Hut' lot and the 'There was a Fire' lot so that I can clear Hood drops; I'll clear the land, drop lots then re-drop the Evergreens and Conifers that are in that area now.

As I add art work I find myself delighted with a few newer offerings. I plan to add another hut to divide the Dalraida and Carmsie installations. Each deserves it's own space.

After all the many, many Hoods I've built over the years this Hood is my final Home.

I recall running over Uru Island and making my way through Lagoland thinking how about how very much I'd like to offer a permanent staple to the There landscape... I wanted something that would blend into the world rather than sit making some obscure proclamation. I wanted a Hood that was unmistakably inspired by all things There while celebrating the wonderful desingers here in world. I wanted a Hood that I wouldn't become bored with. A Hood to take pride in. A place to offer not only my own ideas of what a Hood could be but that would boast art and music and questing fun.

I'm getting there, swiftly now...
